about
Troy Laws, Michelle Martin and Len Pringle Sr. make up the Midwest-West Coast vocal collaboration..known as “Yesterday’s Love”. This remarkable trio blends the best of Ole’ School music; with a “hint and respectable” nod to the Classic Sounds of Motown. Their debut record release is a “musical toast”... to the Motor City and the many Motown groups that started it all.
Released on the newly installed Pop/Soul/Jazz & Funk Indie record label...Dayton Soul Rhythm Records (based in Dayton, Ohio); the record single take the listener through a history lesson of who, what, when and how the Motown sound got created. It evokes a time gone by when great music was a mainstay in Detroit; created by talented writers and producers and sung by the “great” vocal groups of the time.
Collectively, “Yesterday’s Love” is a powerhouse of soul made up of three individuals, who each on their own merit, have major accomplishments in the music industry. Now, coming together as one voice, the group gives their listeners a great rendition of “classic soul”...bringing back great memories and the times we held near and dear in our hearts through music.
Their debut record single..”Play Me Some Motown”...on the Dayton Soul Rhythm label; will surely do the job, transporting your mind..back to a time, where classic Soul and R&B was on the radio everywhere.
